Continuing the saga of Max Rockatansky through the wasteland of Earth, this film gave audiences a taste of the cinematic mastery that Miller would continue to display over the ensuing four decades. Bigger, crazier, and more exhilarating than its tiny-budgeted predecessor. Edited by David Stiven, Tim Welburn and Michael Balson, this film is everything a sequel should be and is rightfully considered one of the greatest films of the 1980s.
