Zoom/Online see event description for link details, CA, United States

Picturehouse 441 and ACE are proud to be partnering on a series of live virtual Q&As as part of our mutual efforts to promote media literacy.
Join us for a Q&A with showrunner / executive producer / writer Lauren LeFranc & editors Henk Van Eeghen, ACE, and Meg Reticker, as they discuss their work on The Penguin. A ferocious standalone crime drama set in Gotham, The Penguin is an exhilarating ride that follows the dual stories of two aspiring crime lords: the eponymous villain and Sofia Falcone, brought dazzlingly to life by Colin Farrell and Cristin Milioti, respectively. Told over the course of eight riveting episodes, The Penguin doesn’t have a wasted minute, largely thanks to its trio of editors, Henk Van Eeghen, Meg Reticker, and Andy Weir, delving deeper and deeper into its two lead characters’ increasingly twisted, tortured psyches. And enough credit cannot be given to showrunner Lauren LeFranc who brings this ruthlessly intelligent limited series to vivid life, creating one of the best crime epics to hit screens in years.
