NewFest: The 35th Annual New York LGBTQ+ Film Festival – Industry & Filmmaker Day

NewFest is proud to announce the launch of their first-ever Industry & Filmmaker Day, a new program that aims to deepen connections within the queer film industry; provide space for provocative and inspiring thinking about what it means to be queer and working in film; and stir important conversations through a series of interactive roundtable discussions that connect and spark conversation between their guests, led by a handful of industry facilitators. One of these discussions, entitled Making Queer Cinema: Through Craft and Aesthetic may be of particular interest to the membership.

NewFest would love to have a New York-based member of ACE participate in this conversation as a facilitator. If you are interested and feel you’d be a particularly good fit, please contact Derek McCants, ACE, at derekmccants@gmail.com or Oliver Lief, ACE, at oliver@bluetablepost.com
