Please join ACE for a special DOUBLE FEATURE screening of Blue Ruin and Green Room plus a Q&A with editor Julia Bloch. The evening begins with a screening of the the 2013 Jeremy Saulnier thriller Blue Ruin about a mysterious outsider whose quiet life is turned upside down when he returns to his childhood home. The film premiered at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival and was the winner of the FIPRESCI Prize. The screening will feature a Q&A with editor Julia Bloch, moderated by Caryn Coleman, the founder of The Future of Film Is Female. After the Q&A stay for a second screening featuring the 2015 Saulnier horror-thriller film Green Room. The film focuses on a punk band who find themselves attacked by neo-Nazi skinheads after witnessing a murder at a remote club in the Pacific Northwest.
