Join us a Q&A with VFX Supervisor Richard Edlund, ASC, as he discuss his work on the 1981 action-adventure Raiders of the Lost Ark. From Lawrence Kasdan’s whip-smart (pun intended) screenplay to Spielberg’s typically confident direction to Richard Edlund and co’s Oscar-winning visual effects to Michael Kahn, ACE's expert editing to John William’s rousing score to Harrison Ford’s career-defining performance, everything about this film is instantly-iconic. While Raiders may be an homage to films and serials of days gone by, it remixes these older works through a new lens with cutting-edge technology and manages to thrill no matter how many times it's viewed.
